Over the years, stem cell therapy has grown to become one of the interesting ‘solutions’ in medical landscape, due to its potential in various applications across many different disciplines. Especially in Malaysia, stem cell has also becoming the buzz word in attracting consumerism. Not only patients, doctors and industry players have been enthusiastic to explore what stem cell therapy has to offer towards achieving better health. Just recently new set of regulation pertaining to stem cell therapy has been announced and finalized. For all we know, this progress could either make or break the industry due to its vast pros and cons. Will the regulation support industry aspirations? Is it too focused on protecting one side of the interests? Most importantly, how will this regulation impact the patients, healthcare professionals, industry and the overall future of local stem cell therapy? Join us in discussing more of these exciting issues, themed "New regulations; Final Drafting" with our reputable speakers and panellists in the latest edition of MACT Symposium 2015!
Chairperson: Dr Khairul Baharin, CEO / Managing Director, Cell Tissue Technology Sdn. Bhd
