Seating is limited, and preference will be given to those who registered in advance online. The social highlight of the meeting will be a Dinner hosted by HITV Laboratory Sdn Bhd. Please note that members who want to join the dinner must register early. Members with a max of 2 participants from each company under the Full Membership category and max of 1 participant for Associate Membership will be sponsored for the networking dinner. If the number of participants are more than 2 (for associate membership, more than 1), please contact the Secretariat for further details, to cover expenses, a nominal registration fee will be charged. BIOGRAPHY of Dr. Konstantinos Papadopoulos, MD, PhD Dr. Konstantinos Papadopoulos, MD, PhD is a Greek national fluent in several languages. He has held Specialist, Teaching, and Research Positions at the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes, University of Lund, University Hospital, Malmo, Sweden, at the Department of Internal Medicine, Liverpool, and Fairfield Hospitals, and as Clinical Tutor in Medicine for the overseas doctors training programme in N.S.W., Australia. Furthermore, he has held a Lectureship in Endocrinology at the University of Alexandroupolis, Greece. He has been the Associate Director International Medical Services for Asia/Pacific at Organon International. He has published several papers in the field of Endocrinology, has performed referee assignments for several Medical Journals and has been an invited speaker and chairman at numerous occasions in the fields of Endocrinology/Diabetology, Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology, HRT, Anesthesiology, Depression, Stem Cell Biology, Genetics and Nutrition. His latest peer reviewed publication is on the use of a child’s own cord blood in Cerebral Palsy and the use of Own Adult Stem Cells in early Knee Osteoarthritis. At present, he is the CMRD of THAI StemLife, an international biotechnology company specializing in umbilical cord blood and peripheral blood adult stem cell storage and R&D as well as Predictive Genetic Testing located in Bangkok, Thailand. Moreover, Dr Papadopoulos is an Expert in Genetic Preventive Medical Programs, Longevity and Lifestyle Planning, and Medical Fitness. He holds a Level 3 Gym Jones Certificate.
BIOGRAPHY of Dr. Hasumi Dr. Kenichiro Hasumi is a physician, specialized in cancer immunotherapy and terminal care. He is also a researcher and visionary, focused on the development of cancer immunotherapy, especially vaccines and improved clinical treatments to achieve better patient outcomes with a higher quality of life. Currently, Dr. Hasumi holds a number of patents on a therapeutic cancer vaccine and adjuvant in Japan, the United States, EU, Singapore, Russia, India and Mexico. Most of the patents have been applied to his current clinical practices. In 1999, Dr. Hasumi established the Hasumi International Research Foundation (HIRF) in the United States. The primary purpose of HIRF is to conduct and support scientific research in connection with finding a cure for various forms of cancer, particularly with the use of immunotherapy. Its mission also is to develop a highly sophisticated database and networking system for the collection and dissemination of valuable data from cancer research and treatment throughout the world. HIRF has also been sponsoring the International Cancer Vaccine Symposium since 2001. Dr. Hasumi also is chairman of Hasumi Group, including HIRF, Shukokai Inc, ICVS Tokyo Clinic, BSL-48 Clinic, Hijirigaoka Hospital, Hijiri-no-Sato Elderly Health Care Facility, and the Electro-Chemical and Cancer Institute.
